This place is incredibly clean with lovely views, making it a fantastic choice for accommodation; the room is exceptional and the staff is very attentive.

We enjoyed rooms with 2 single bed at 2 different angle. Location: the hotel was close to cafes and restaurants, and Penang island. Besides, it was around 15 mins walk to Design Village Outlet Mall.

Close to cafes, Penang attractions, and the island. the room was neat with 2 single beds arranged at different angles, which was pretty cool. the staff members were friendly and helpful. 🌟

The room had a modern vibe and came with useful things like a mini-fridge-bar, a coffeemaker, and a writing table. ☕

We loved the convenient location of this place. It is close to the Bandar Cassia and Simpang Ampat areas, making it easy for us to explore the nearby attractions. The cleanliness of the bedroom and bathroom impressed us, and the friendly reception staff made us feel welcome. The minimalist yet spacious room had all the necessary amenities, and the comfortable bed provided a great night's sleep. We were also pleased with the strong water pressure in the shower and the cold air conditioning. The swimming pool was clean and large, and we enjoyed the surrounding plants. The availability of a water dispenser was a useful feature, and the vegetarian bento we tried was absolutely delicious.

We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable hotel with enhanced services and facilities.

We stayed 6 nights and would come here again when visiting Malaysia. the hotel is spotlessly clean. - the staff is superbly friendly. - the room is exceptionally nice and clean. - the setting is good and unbeatable, close to restaurants, Penang, and cafes. - Kdu University College is just a short stroll away from the venue.

The front office was accommodating when I needed to change my reservation last minute. The hotel itself was beautifully designed and impeccably clean. Despite the lack of nearby dining options, I discovered Japanese, Korean, and mamak restaurants within a short walk. The third floor water purifier/dispenser and complimentary coffee/tea in the room were thoughtful touches. The swimming pool was fine and well-maintained. The spacious room exceeded my expectations, and the shower and bath gel provided were of high quality.

I would highly recommend staying at The Upper House. Even though there were a few drawbacks, such as a narrow room and lack of soundproofing, the positive aspects of the hotel far outweighed these minor inconveniences.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! the staff at the front office were incredibly patient and professional, making my last-minute date change a breeze. Secondly, the hotel itself is new and spotlessly clean, exceeding my expectations. The rooms, as shown in the pictures, were spacious and well-equipped with all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. Lastly, the location near the Batu Kawan industrial area on Penang Island was perfect for my needs.

No major issues, everything was great!

The minimalist room design was clean, and the water pressure in the shower was great. The location was also good, making it easy to access nearby attractions. Plus, we enjoyed great air conditioning which is crucial for romantic escape in hot weather.

The poor lighting design detracted from our overall experience. The hallway lights were too bright and intrusive.
